Within the framework of UEFA’s anti-doping educational programme “HatTrick”, an educational seminar was conducted with the National Football Team.

The Georgian Anti-Doping Agency implements an anti-doping education programme in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard for Education. In line with the requirements of the Standard, education and awareness-raising activities are delivered through programmes tailored to different target groups.
Anti-doping education contributes to increasing awareness, strengthening responsibility, and promoting ethical behavior in sport. It is based not only on rules and prohibitions, but also on in-depth knowledge and the ability to make informed decisions. Therefore, education is considered a key tool in the prevention of doping and the protection of clean sport.
On March 23 of the current year, the Education Programme Manager of the Georgian Anti-Doping Agency, Mr. Pavle Kasradze, conducted a seminar with the National Football Team and its support personnel.
Within the framework of the seminar, participants were introduced to the following topics:
- Clean sport and the role and values of the athlete;
- The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code;
- The Georgian Anti-Doping Rules;
- The Prohibited List (substances and methods);
- Athletes’ rights and responsibilities;
- Doping control procedures;
- Anti-doping rule violations;
- The Athlete Biological Passport and steroidal profile management;
- Results management procedures.
