WADA World Conference on Doping in Sport 2025

The 6th World Conference on Doping in Sport was held on 5 December in Busan, Republic of Korea. Representatives from Georgia were the Director of the Georgian Anti-Doping Agency, Pavle Kasradze, and the CEO of the Georgian Anti-Doping Agency, Teimuraz Ukleba.

During the sessions of the conference, WADA’s Foundation Board approved the World Anti-Doping Code, while the Executive Committee approved the International Standards. These documents, including the revised Athletes’ Anti-Doping Rights Act - which was reviewed in detail by WADA’s Athlete Council - will come into force on 1 January 2027.

The World Conference on Doping in Sport took place from 1- 5 December and brought together more than 1,500 participants from the sport movement, public authorities, and anti-doping organizations.
