Information meeting of the Georgian Anti-Doping Agency with the Georgian Paralympic Committee

The Georgian Anti-Doping Agency has launched its anti-doping education program in all national federations of Georgia.
The Anti-Doping Agency, as well as sports organizations, are obliged by the World Anti-Doping Code and the Georgian Anti-Doping Rules to provide anti-doping education to athletes and their support personnel, raise their awareness, and protect the health of athletes.
On May 5 of this year, in Tbilisi, Pavle Kasradze, Director General of the Georgian Anti-Doping Agency, and Khatia Bakhsoliani, Coordinator of the Education Program, conducted seminars with athletes of the Georgian Paralympic Committee.
During the information meeting, the attendees were introduced to the following issues:
1. Clean sport and the importance and value of an athlete;
2. World Anti-Doping Agency Code;
3. Georgian Anti-Doping Rules;
4. List of Prohibited Substances and Methods;
5. Athletes’ Rights and Responsibilities;
6. Doping Control Procedures;
7. Anti-Doping Rule Violations;
8. Athlete Steroid Profile and Biological Passport Management;
9. Test Results Management.
