2024 Central and Eastern European Anti-Doping Summit

This year’s Summit, which was attended by more than 60 participants from 26 different countries, was hosted by the Antidoping Agency of Serbia.The Vice-Chairman, Manager of Compliance and Scientific Programs Theuraz Ukleba and Manager of Incentives and Results Management of the Agency Luka Khatiashvili were invited to participate in the summit. 

The summit focused on a number of anti-doping topics, including: 

• Collaboration between global and regional stakeholders; 
• 2027 World Anti-Doping Code and International Standard Update Process; 
• Results management processes; 
• Cooperation with law enforcement; and 
• Improving prevention programs. 

WADA President Witold Bańka delivered a keynote speech which highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Anti-Doping Organizations (ADOs) within Central and Eastern Europe and around the world.
