2024 Global Education Conference

I will inform  you that on February 27-29 2024 organized by the World Anti-Doping Agency, the fourth Global Education Conference (GEC) was held in the city of Cannes, France. Representatives of organizations, governments, laboratories, media and athletes.;

Within the framework of the conference, organizations and associations involved in anti-doping activities have the opportunity to discuss the latest trends, share the best experience with each other and plan the future educational program, which will be directed against the use of doping in sports.
It is very important for the Agency to be actively involved in educational activities, so that we have the opportunity to create a highly informative and effective educational program that will be in full compliance with the education standard of the World Anti-Doping Agency, as well as with the requirements of preparatory education for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Teimuraz Ukleba, the manager of compliance and scientific programs of the Georgian Anti-Doping Agency, and Khatia Bakhsoliani, the agency's education coordinator, attended presentations, panel discussions, practical seminars and networking sessions during the symposium.

The program of the Global Education Conference included a total of 19 sessions-meetings, which, in addition to the hybrid format, were held in parallel mode, therefore, two employees were sent to participate in the work process of the symposium, who attended different sessions depending on the topic of their activities.
